Alpha House has been supporting men in recovery from substance abuse since 1972. Its program is based upon the 12 Steps of Recovery and thousands of men, with the support of Alpha House, have achieved their goal of living a clean and sober life that has real meaning and direction.
Over the years, we have built a network with a variety of addiction-related services including withdrawal management (detox) centres, treatment centres, halfway houses, and transitional or supportive housing agencies. We offer medical and psychiatric referrals as needed. Above all, we work hand-in-hand with our clients to provide a safe and supportive environment in which to begin a journey towards a healthy and satisfying life free from the chains of addiction.
